This project was about tracing dance moves to produce a new formal vocabulary and experimenting with their implementation on various architectural sites. After researching on the contemporary and hip hop dance genres as my precedent study, I traced specific choreographic movements of the specified dance style, analysed that data and translated it into abstractions which could also be used as design elements. The beauty of using bodily movements is the juxtaposition of the variegated forms one achieves by exercising various objects tracing different body parts in every trial and analyze why the outcomes turned out to be different every time. The different factor under consideration while experimenting were not only the different body parts like an arm or a leg movement for example but also playing with the time, density and speed. And in the end I tried to interface the assorted group of forms to give them an architectural definition.
